From a failed interview to a platform used by thousands

PrepSense started when our co-founder bombed a dream job interview despite being more than qualified. The problem wasn't ability — it was preparation. So we built the tool we wished existed.

2022
The idea
After a brutal interview experience, James and Priya decide to build an AI interview coach. First prototype built in a weekend.
2023
First 1,000 users
Launched publicly on Product Hunt. Reached 1,000 users in 48 hours. Added body language analysis using computer vision.
2024
Seed funding
Raised $2.4M seed round. Expanded to support 50+ job categories. Launched the enterprise hiring platform.
2025
50,000 interviews
Crossed 50,000 completed interviews across 120 countries. Launched real-time voice analysis and lifelike AI avatars.
